Planning for Credit Unions
“The future isn’t what it used to be.”- Yogi Berra
Yogi’s right again. The credit union world is changing so rapidly, looking to the past won’t help us in the future. Where is your credit union headed? How are you going to serve your members in the digital age? What is going to happen to your field of membership? What products and services are you going to offer your members to keep them coming to you?
These are just some of the questions credit unions need to be considering to remain financially healthy and viable in the coming years.
Some credit unions will need to become totally digital; some will remain in-person service providers; some will take a route in between. But all credit unions are going to have to consider to how they are going to survive in the digital age.
Tim Harrington and TEAM Resources have specialized in facilitating strategic planning with credit unions SINCE 1992. We have worked with credit unions from $2 million to well over $2 billion in assets. During this time, we have learned that credit unions, although similar in many ways, have very different needs caused by different fields of membership, different regions, and different expectations and divergent business models.
As a result, we offer several different Strategic Planning Packages to meet those needs.
